Hi, I'm Franziska and I'm really happy about your visit to our team post! I would be happy to tell you something about my role at Beluga Kids.

I'm a design-loving mum of two wonderful toddlers - a cuddly girl and a daring "Büebli". The two are probably my greatest happiness on earth! But what also makes me super happy is furnishing their children's room. And that feels like it happens every month. With their help, of course. 

At Beluga Kids, I'm the strategic head, responsible for the assortment design as well as all communication and design. I like to lose myself in the selection of our sweet items. However, it is a challenge to find items or manufacturers that correspond to the values of Beluga Kids. Only what is produced sustainably and is free of harmful substances makes it into our range. But when our finds arrive at our warehouse, I feel like I'm at a children's birthday party: "Yayyy! There they are, the new darlings, waiting to be tested by you!" says a voice inside me.

But do you know what makes me even more happy?
Our development aid projects. As you probably already know, Beluga Kids invests in the future of children in third world countries. 
With the conscious, controlled purchase of our articles we create sustainable jobs and, thanks to our profit-oriented donations for education, enable countless families to break the cycle of poverty and build a better future. Is there anything nicer than doing good?

I don't want to miss Beluga Kids any more, because the e-commerce startup gives me the opportunity to manage my job and family flexibly.
